Hello, welcome to The Learning Table. I'm Jessica Wilkerson! I am a Learning Specialist, Social Justice Advocate, and Researcher dedicated to finding 'what’s missing' in our educational and operational systems. With a BA in Communications, a Master’s in Social Justice & Community Organizing, and a background as a licensed NJ Social Studies educator, my work spans from the classrooms of New Jersey to projects for the U.S. Department of State.
As the founder of The Learning Table, I bridge the gap between complex research and everyday action. Whether I’m designing onboarding frameworks for nonprofits, providing one-on-one accountability support, or tracing the global etymology of tomatoes in my children’s books, I am driven by a commitment to clarity, equity, and the power of food history to connect us all.
